Logging on in Leeds, The best places to work remotely

2019-05-01

The working environment is a funny thing. A student house can often get too busy and noisey, so some of us like to get out into the city in search of that magic combination of good coffee, a comfy seat and free WiFi sums up with the best student accommodation Leeds.

To save you from searching for all that yourself, we’ve made a selection of the best places to get your studying on in Leeds.

Munro House, Duke St, Leeds LS9 8AG

Located in Munro House across the street from the city bus station, Café 164 has two main strengths: (1) consistent WiFi and (2) chocolate brownies. The direct-trade coffee is top notch and they have a wide selection of tasty sandwiches and comfy seating, so it’s a productive workspace, indeed.

Central Rd, Leeds LS1 6DE

In the city centre on the same street as Little Tokyo is the cosy, rustic Mrs Atha’s. They have free WiFi, quiet corners (at certain times of the day) and unbelievably good pancakes on the breakfast menu. What more do you need? Tasty beverages? They’re nailing those, too.

Hunslet Rd, Leeds LS10 1JQ

The old building of the Tetley brewery is now home to one of the best arts centres in the city and its strong WiFi and casual atmosphere make it one of the best remote working spots as well.

54 Otley Rd, Leeds LS6 2AL

The self-proclaimed “home of creativity” on Otley
